In line with reaching Phase C of Victoria's Roadmap, we are thrilled to be re-opening to the public from Monday the 8th of November 2021! Getting back to on-site learning, activities, and all the great things that happen at the centre will be a welcome change of environment for a lot of people and we are certainly looking forward to seeing some familiar and new faces.
To keep everyone safe and to comply with government directives, there is a list of requirements that must be met in order to participate in on-site activities, which are detailed below. We have also included a link to a one page summary so please check that out if you like.
We have tried to be as detailed as possible but inevitably there will be something which we couldn't have foreseen, so if you have any particular questions about your situation and how these requirements apply to you please don't hesitate to get in contact.
Requirements
To participate in all classes and activities, visit the café, or make use of the function room you must be fully vaccinated and upon arrival:
Check in (QR/Kiosk)
Provide proof of vaccination status or medical exemption
Adhere to the density quotient requirements for each space
Wear a mask when inside (unless you have a medical exemption)
What if I'm not fully vaccinated?
As part of our COVID Safe Plan we are required to only permit fully vaccinated people or those with medical exemptions to attend the centre. However, we're committed to supporting our community members, so if you are not fully vaccinated you may still continue your classes and activities online where this is offered. We will endeavour to offer this blended-delivery option wherever possible, however there are cases where this is not practicable such as very hands-on training.
Proof of vaccination status
Only the following items are appropriate proof of vaccination:
COVID-19 Digital Certificate through Services Victoria App
COVID-19 Digital Certificate saved on your smartphone
Printed copy of COVID-19 Digital Certificate together with photo ID
Printed copy of Immunisation History Statement with photo ID
Or, Medical Exemption together with photo ID
The following are not acceptable proof of your vaccination status:
Vaccine Appointment Card
Negative COVID-19 test results
Other things to keep in mind
We will try and be as accommodating as we can when it comes to participating in a way that suits you, however safety is our number one priority and we cannot compromise on the requirements set out above
It is still important to practice good preventative measures such as: social distancing, regular hand-washing/disinfecting, and avoid making unnecessary contact with your eyes and mouth.
